Worldcon 75

I arrived home from Worldcon a little less than a week ago, and the jet lag is finally starting to wear off.

One thing about going to cons: I spend almost the entire time either at the hotel, at the convention, or traveling between the two. In Kansas City I managed to do a small amount of tourism, but in Helsinki I didn’t do any. Which is too bad, because who knows when I’ll even be there again.

It was good to see some friends. Some of the panels even helped me with some writing issues I’ve been dealing with (economics of colonialism, for instance). And I enjoyed the strikingly thick foam on the cappuccino.
